What are the chances of me getting my data back?

• If it's a mechanical drive, as long as the drive is still spinning, the chances are very high
• If it's a solid state drive, one with no moving parts, it's a bit tricker to save the data as it depends on the chips on the board, but we've never had one we haven't been able to fix yet.

I put my USB drive in, it says "do you want to format?"

• This is a type of error we specialize in fixing which is usually caused by sudden changes in power
• There are always some issues related to this error which could result in actual hardware failures and some massive corruption, but we have ways of returning the drive to a functional state

I deleted data off of my drive and I want it back

• Please do not use it any further, or you will raise the chance you may not ever see your data again
• There are a few procedures we conduct to look for lost files but the process can take hours and may not reap the file you lost
• We do have the ability to create backup systems to nullify this issue so you may feel confident that after deleting a file, you are able to retrieve an older copy of it

My drive is complaining about bad sectors

• We conduct fixes for these types of errors on a regualar basis and are more than capable of correcting them
• Depending on the damage, it could take anywhere from an hour to a couple weeks to correct the issues

My partition table went bad

• These types of issues are usually a straight-forward fix for us
• If something else is amok, this might be a very difficult fix because of massive filesystem corruption

My drive is making unusual clicky noises

• Please do not use it any further, or you will raise the chance you may not ever see your data again
• This is one of the most serious issues for hard disk drives and will probably be the end-of-life for the drive so if it's making these sounds, we will need to do what we can as quickly as possible to pull your data off
• The recovery process can take a very long time to finish up but the good news is, we're going to be getting as much of your data off as we possibly can before the drive up and stops spinning on us
• If the drive isn't older than 3 or 5 years, we can usually issue you a free replacement

My RAID0 array failed

• Unfortunately, it's always extremely difficult to go about fixing any sort of RAID0 issues and there's absolutely no guarantee we can fix this sort of issue
• We've been able to fix issues like this before so it's not impossible

My hard disk drive stopped spinning

• It is a tricky process, but if it's the board on the drive that went bad, we might be able to do something about it
• Sometimes drives die from age and then the chances of retriving your data are minimal

Data Destruction & Secure Erasing

Along with data recovery, we can also permanently destroy data so there's no trace of it left for anyone. This is best if you want to trash a drive or resell it.

There's no better way to make sure the data is gone than to have someone look at it that knows how to find lost data.
